CODA is the result of an exclusive production partnership between Pathé and Philippe Rousselet’s Vendôme Group, one of the leading global independent production companies with a strong track record and production activities across both Europe and the U.S. Pathé has a first look at co-developing and financing Vendôme Pictures films, such as CODA and a long-term non-exclusive collaboration on a slate of French-language films, having co-produced four titles over the past five years including FAREWELL MR HAFFMANN, PROMISE AT DAWN, SMALL COUNTRY and THE LOST PRINCE. Further co-productions are in development between the two companies.
CODA, an English-language remake of the 2014 French box office hit “LA FAMILLE BELIER”, was sold by Pathé to Apple TV+ after winning four major awards as opening film at last year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Oscar® -winning actress Marlee Matlin, SAG-winning, and BAFTA and Oscar®-nominated actor Troy Kotsur, and BAFTA-nominated actress Emilia Jones star.
